Clapping and Waving

We've been teaching Luke how to clap and wave for a little over a month now.  This past Sunday evening, he started doing both!  He prefers to clap, but will wave every now and then also.  I'm so proud of him!

Bathtime

Luke absolutely loves his bathtime! He's learning how to splash the water and play with all his toys.  He's so much fun!

Aching Teeth

Poor baby...don't these teeth look like they hurt?  There's even some blood/irritation on one of them.
He finally let me get a good picture of all those teeth.

Seven Months

I cannot believe how fast Luke is growing up!  He is doing all kinds of new things lately.  He can sit up by himself and is trying so hard to crawl.  He still loves to eat and is starting to taste little bits of table food.  His two bottom teeth are in and he has 4 coming in on top!  The Dr. told us it's early for those teeth to be coming in.  I am reminded of them coming in multiple times at night when Luke starts to cry.  It must be painful for him, so I think both of us are ready for them to be in!  I've tried Tylenol, Orajel, and Hylands Teething Tablets.  Nothing seems to make much of a difference...any suggestions from you mommies who have been through it?  I am guessing it's just going to take time.

We went to the Dr. last Thursday and Luke weighs 21 lbs. 10 ounces, 95th percentile.  A little less than he had been weighing at home, but I guess his mobility is burning off some calories!
He is also 28.75" long, also 95th percentile.

Here are some pics from the last month of my happy little man.

If you look closely, you can see those 4 teeth coming in on top...

I think Luke is going to like building forts...this is where he likes to play when we are in his nursery.

Excuse me Aunt Kelly, can you pay me some attention please?

It's so nice to have Luke sitting up...he played here with Maddy for about 45 minutes.

and here he is playing with his buddy, AJ.

One of his first attempts at crawling, you can see the frustration in his face.

His next step toward crawling...the downward dog yoga pose...
he's still frustrated.

Playing before bed.  He gets some extra energy at night because his Daddy is home.

Big Smile!

I love these overalls with the little turtle in the pocket.

His Daddy dressed and posed him for this photo.
It makes me laugh.

First Snow

Luke got to see his first snow on Sunday.  I tried to get a picture of him with the snow in the background.  I guess typical of Georgia snow, you can't even tell it's snowing!
